In January of 2005, the Land Trust was gifted nine acres of forested upland off Pine Swamp Road in Ipswich by Paul F. Wegzyn. This forested hillside land is defined by numerous traditional New England stone walls and is surrounded on one side by several acres of upland actively farmed. A portion of the open space is leased to adjacent property owners and has been improved with available walking trails, although the majority of the site is undefined woodland. The elevations of this site provide many with beautiful views of the meadows below.
